Chopta: Start of Trek
Chopta is a beautiful meadow, which is surrounded by dense cedar, burn and oak forests from all sides. From here, there is a wonderful view of the Himalayan peaks like Kedarnath, Nanda Devi and Trishul.

Tungnath Temple: The highest Shiva temple in the world
After a trekking of about 5 km from Chopta, we arrive in Tungnath Temple, which is one of the Panch Kedars dedicated to Lord Shiva and is the highest Shiva temple in the world.
What is special here?
Situated between the icy mountains, this temple is more than 1000 years old.
A spiritual energy is felt as soon as you reach here.
In winter, the entire temple is covered with snow, making its view unforgettable.
Chandrashila Peak: 360-Digry Himalaya view
Chandrashila Peak comes after a standing climb of about 1.5 km ahead of Tungnath, from where the entire Himalayas are visible. This place is considered to be the most famous for seeing sunrise and sunset.

360-Digry View: From here the peaks of Kedarnath, Chaukhamba, Trishul, Nanda Devi and Gangotri are clearly visible.
